We’ve used fabric covered buttons to make stud earrings for the girls.  Let’s make something for the boys today.

Step by step:

Basically the steps are very similar to how you make fabric cover stud earrings.  First use a clipper to remove the wire on the back.

IMG_6430Apply adhesive to the glue pad of cufflink hardware.  Let dry for 10 seconds.

IMG_6433Stick the cufflink hardware to the back of the cover button.  Leave dry overnight in a well-ventilated area.  Keep it untouched. The longer you let dry, the stronger the bond.  Leave it up to 3 days to cure for best result.

IMG_6434Repeat the steps again to make a pair.

IMG_6437There you go!  Get a nice cufflink case and put your freshly made cufflinks in 🙂
